Recipe by Miranda Kerr: I love starting the day with this healthy parfait that I adapted from a traditional French dessert. It’s perfect for breakfast, or for an afternoon treat. It’s delicious, nutritious, and super simple to prepare.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day! It helps to kick start our metabolism and provides us with energy to start the day.

It’s important to source fresh, organic ingredients to ensure you are getting nutritious produce. Some other fruits I like to include, depending what is in season; blueberries, strawberries, pear, mango or grapefruit.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/2 cup goat kefir or goat yogurt
  • 1/4 cup hemp granola
  • 1 apple medium diced
  • 1/2 papaya medium diced
  • 1/4 teaspoon honey (or add more to your liking).

DIRECTIONS:

  1. In a shallow wide bowl (soup bowl)
  2. Pour goat yogurt in the middle
  3. Add the granola in the middle
  4. Pour fruit on each side
  5. Drizzle with honey!

Serve fresh and enjoy!
